In 1962 Mr. Silvestre Hinojosa bought 122 hectares ofmount in the Hight Valley of Uco (Alto Valle de Uco).

The stony and sandy ground of Tunuyán in Mendoza, allows an exelent drainage of underground water coming from the thaw of the Cordillera.

With an ideal enviroment for the slow ripeness of the fruits, with a huge thermic amplitude between day and night, 20-25º C approximately, it allows us to reach the biggest expression of our wines obtaining an excelente color with a careful breeding inside oak barrels.

There at 1.200 meters above the sea level, on the Andes Centrales and over the Camino a las Nieves (Row to Snow) and the Camino del Vino Nuevo (New wine Road),with the best-reputed and with major quality zone of South America, our wines borns.

And they said that only a mad mancould have the ocurrance of seed on that stony ground.


The enological tradition and the infinites innovations of wine are still alive today with the third generation of Wine Shop & Vineyards Hinojosa. Our family shares the same objetive: keeps on produceing excelents wines inspired on the most pure and noble elements of nature.

On that place, where we combine the character of ours vineyards, the familiar
tradition and the artisan work, is where ours lands are. There, where the sun
is nearer and where the moon and the stars bright like anywhere, there is where
we reach the best expression of wine.
